Poor corneal shape causes dry eyes, vision irregularities and keratoconus regardless of before or after LASIK. However, corneal shape cannot be corrected by any of the conventional LASIK methods.
Corneal Remodelling LASIK is a new technology that solves the shortcomings of conventional LASIK. It is a surgical vision correction method that enables corneal shape correction along with LASIK.

The cornea maintains its shape with the interaction of intraocular pressure (IOP),
and it is a semi-solid (gel) material with elasticity that causes the thicker part to move down and the thinner part to rise like a seesaw.
